The Church community of St Ethelwold’sSt Ethelwold’s School is a safe place where Christian values are built into our whole school ethos and teaching.
It is our expectation that everyone in school should live their day to day life displaying the Christian values of peace, faithfulness, generosity, forgiveness, compassion, truthfulness and courage.
We aim to ensure that our children and staff flourish educationally, spiritually and emotionally.
The Church community of St Ethelwold’s and the wider diocese of St Asaph have given their wholehearted support to our school.
As well as our Vicar, Father Steve Green, being a very active governor and contributing regularly to school assemblies, members of the wider Church in Wales community also contribute to school life.
Our Bishop’s visitor Mrs Ann Suter and her husband Alan, a retired minister, are regular visitors, providing support and sometimes contributing to collective worship.
Bishop Gregory himself has also visited on a number of occasions, speaking to children and holding whole school worship.
Religious Education at St Ethelwold’s School enables our pupils to develop a sound knowledge of Christianity and other world religions.
Children are encouraged to reflect on what it means to have faith and to develop their own spiritual knowledge and understanding.
At St Ethelwold’s School we seek to provide high-quality teaching and learning within a caring Christian environment where all achievement is recognised and celebrated.
