FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE

Present: Paul Oliver, Sue Bonney, Amanda Davies, Cathy Brown, Sonia Sheen, Rebecca Ellis

Cathy Brown opened the meeting by informing that we had currently £1734 in the account.

 

 Priorities for Fundraising 2017-2018

The School Council have suggested gym equipment on the junior yard where green benches currently sit, the feeling being that the green benches are past their sell by date and look old and unsightly.

Pantomime trip – this has been booked for 15th December at Rhyl Pavilion, the total cost being £1600 for the tickets and transport – this will be entirely free to parents.

New curtains in the hall – performances in the hall are compromised by the poor quality of the curtains and the fact that they do not close or block out the light – school is currently gathering 3 quotes and will report back when they have been received.

Christmas disco – provisionally booked for 19th and 20th December and planned to happen during the day as an addition to the Christmas party.

End of year disco 17th July 2018 – this will be an afterschool event.

10th November & 24th November Own Clothes Day – donations for tombola/raffle or £1 donation

Christmas Bingo Monday 11th December at 6pm

Summer Fair Saturday 30th June 12-3

 

The next meeting is set for 17th October where ALL parents/carers are warmly welcomed.
