PDG & EIG Spending Plans 2021/22

The school receives grant funding directly from Welsh Government each year.

The Pupil Deprivation Grant was launched in 2012 and provides additional funding to schools based on the number of pupils on our roll who are eligible for Free School Meals or who are Looked After Children.

PDG represents a significant source of funding for schools to invest in approaches to tackle disadvantage and is an invaluable source of funding for specific types of activity to reduce the attainment gap.

The Education Improvement Grant was launched in 2015 and provides assistance to schools to improve educational outcomes for learners.
